I think instructions meant for Simplix and not yourself. I guess he thinks you produce the pack so he suggests that you need to remove the older update packs.

 

I agree he thinks so.
But I would not recommend to do that for the Simplix Pack is meant to satisfy WU as well. If you remove those old updates WU will start nagging for precisely those old ones, a lot.

Hi, for some reason I can't update my .wim file anymore with the latest pack.
It worked fine with previous versions, but with this one I'm getting an error code (769), "failed to mount the image", then a russian error code.

Any idea about what is causing this?
I'm trying to update a french version of win7 x64 sp1 iso.

Google "dism 769" and enable compression for volume.
