Do only starter (x86) or HomeBasic (x64), copy them and set edition them to the other editions, export all into one install.wim, done...
I installed windows 7 64bit ultimate with an original iso and this update pack.. Now when I try to install some driver (ex: processor intel i7 4790) it say:"Intel HD The system does not have the Minimum Requirements".. So I saw to win update to see if there were drivers or other things but WU search without an end... After 18 hours it is still searching.. Is it possible that anything went wrong during the packing or microsoft's server are very busy?
I din't understand some parts of your post, but is the process similar to updating HomeBasic(x64) with simplex, and then removing ei.cfg to get AIO that has all indexes updated. Reason to why i wanted to update all indexes is because i want to build Win 7 AIO x64 updated iso, can you help me on how to use simplex to get all indexes updated in an fast way. Thank you, dNz
You want to create an AIO without the least bit of knowledge? Why not first learn how to do one index and then go to the next step?
Thanks for your reply. In your link the 3rd solution is "3. Use Simplix pack to update your distribution (including WU client) without depending on WU." But you said that the pack doesn't include the full/permanent scan solution so which is the truth?
Actually i do have some knowledge with creating AIO, but maybe there is misunderstanding, i have created and i use a live system that was installed from Installation source with one index updated, now i want to have all indexes update, but not go true the update process 5x. So as i understood from what you wrote, i should update Starter or Homepremium, then make 4x copys of that one, then rename each copy to the name of the remaining indexes, and pack that into .wim, is that correct ? Thank you
What are you trying to do exactly? Updates all editions? (Starter, Home Basic, Premium etc) You have to go through every edition...
After you've updated the lowest edition (starter x86 or Homebasic x64) you copy the install.wim 5 times for x86 and 4 times for x64, rename all install.wim (starter, basic, premium, pro and ultimate) and /set edition them to basic, prem, pro and ultimate. Now you can export all indexes into one install.wim.
Hello i had started integration at 6 pm and completed at 11 pm. It take too much time on 6th gen i3 processor as well. Actually it is worthy.
Integrating each update package at a time in separate session is not ideal 50 or 100 packages together would speed thing up but that require batch scripting
It has to be done by Simplix i.e. after extracting the pack contents, and the applicable updates are identified, they are integrated in groups
No, i did not mean to promote WHD i just ment that the integration process could be optimized and speed up
