Bro, I've tried DDL two times (one with a separate download manager and the other using the downlad them all extension in firefox) and I got the same error: "Update integrity check has failed. Common causes include incomplete download and damaged media. Contact the UpdatePack's author to obtain a new copy". For the moment, the DDL is waste unless they correct it. I also tried to open the pack with 7zip and got data errors.
Friggin' finally... Now other 10, plus an AIO for each language and architecture and i'm done. Gotta point out, the pack works on thin pc(embeded standart 7) as well. I thought there might be hick-ups, even though i know tpc is derived from a regular windows 7.
When you only would have downloaded the enterprise and ultimate iso you would have all editions (except thin pc)
I did make the x86 and x64 AIOs from ultimate and exported enterprise to those AIOs, but i needed all the editions on separate iso files as well. I'm planning to start uploading those to a local tracker, because of the complete lack of updated windows 7 images. The last quality AIO is murphy's and that's since 2016. I'd like to provide something similar in quality and integrity - no custom BS, just updates. Yes, i know anyone could just download a fresh msdn image and use the update pack on that, but for the most part people like to just install windows and be good to go. Not to mention the endless "does it update?" questions... Didn't take long to download, I've got a good dl speed. It's the time that it takes since i'm using a temp folder on my HDD instead of the SSD. The AIOs will be more straight forward, though - start the update pack before going to bed, wake up and put the install.wim back in the .iso. And by the way, I gave up on TPC. You can't install .NET 4.6.2 directly, you have to install 4.6 first, which wasn't the case with Starter, so I just shift+deleted TPC. Besides, in terms of used resources and performance, it's essentially a Starter with a little bit of tweaking. Imo, it's not worth the time.
I just wanted to know how do you install .NET 4.6.2 directly? I would appreciate any input from you! Thanks
Try MSMG toolkit, but one index at a time and LP needs to be done manually in audit mode or using a setupcomplete.cmd.
If by "install" you hope I mean "integrate", then I can't help you. I never tried to integrate .NET in an image, but rather install it afterwards with a handy AIO. You're better off following Enthousiast's advice.
You can use this to integrate. wincert.net/forum/index.php?/topic/11127-microsoft-net-framework-462461-for-windows-7/
Installing a modified iso into a VM right now. Will report soon. ==================================================== It worked. .NET 4.6.2 got installed. I added the x64 addon in an x64 iso's install.wim using WinToolkit AIO integrator. The .wim grew to 3.86GB up from 3.79GB(still good for UEFI-CSM install). The installed .NET also worked like a charm, I ran MTK and activated the pro vl with no problems. So yes, it works. Well, at least for me it does.
Thanks for your input, I will do the same for my Windows 7 image. But I don't know if in my case that will work since I like to add French and Spanish LP to all the index, I think I did try that addon once and didn't work and started using Ricktendo's [Slim] .NET Framework 4.6.2 Full x86/x64 with silent swich which work for me at the moment. Anyways I will try it when I have some free time and see how that go.
And how are you going to add the dotnet462 LP's? They can only be installed during setupcomplete (exe) or in audit mode. WU won't offer them.
