    With the 17.5.15 pack I started with a 2.64GB Pro N VL iso and ended up with a 3.75GB iso(roughly 1.1GB larger). I always use /ie11 and /optimize keys.

These Simplix packs are very helpful.

If the original poster doesn't do them anymore, then a new thread should be started, so that we always have the newest Simplix pack in the OP (first post of the thread).

    Thank You very much.

Those are non integrateble updates (they are live installed during windows installation).

Thanks, some of them are listed in WHDownloader as "NotAllowedOffline" then confirm what you said.

"New security update for Win Defender...."

Is that somewhere included, or available on its own on MDL?

    Thanks

If you're going to use a backup program to capture a system image, I'd strongly recommend Macrium Reflect Free over Acronis.

And I was an hour ago researching how to disable Defender

I even forgot about Macrium, I heard that his copy speed is the best.
I just used Acronis because of Universal Restore and it just works. Macrium I used very little.

Does someone really rely on win 7 defender? If you don't use third party AV at least install MSE (except on enterprise).

Maybe I know more than you do about AVs?
PS: I do not mean to stop from installing whatever you want to....

Windows Defender built into Windows 7 is inferior to the one built into Win8.1-10.
In Win8.1-10 it is very similar to the MSE that Enthousiast suggested.

Yes but maybe he did not know.
The good name of Windows Defender came after Win8.
In Win7 the fame is negative :p
