• Added KB4038777-x86-x64 with disconnected telemetry and disabled processor check (replaces KB2868116-x86-x64, KB3170455-x86-x64 and KB4034664-x86-x64)
• Added KB4040980-x86-x64 (replaces KB4014504-x86-x64)

 

I´m new to this forum and have had an ireversible crash on my PC (files corrupted, not findind C for boot, etc. ) so I do have to format my Win 7 (don´t want to change OS) and would like to know this: after formatting my PC with my disc with Win 7 Ultimate SP1, the first thing I have to do is to install this Update Pack 17.9.15??
And then keep checking here for "Windows Secure Updates" instead of using the Micro$hit one ?? Do I need to install the KB3020369 and the KB3125574 for SP2 also or the one here is already "complete" with SP2 in it ???

@Enthousiast hey mate i was wonder can i use the this command W7\UpdatePack7R2.exe /ie11 /WimFile=C:\W7\install.wim /Index=* and put next too that /temp=junk link will work?

 

I use the batch files to run it offline.

After this i audit/sysprep/capture the wim and then i run "Win7USB3.exe" manually.

 

@Enthousiast what about the script :integrie_USB3_Optimize?

 

If i use that, the usb3.x installer is executed and deleted during audit mode. When you don't first run it thru the audit/sysprep/capture method it can be directly used.

I apply UpdatePack7R2-17.9.15.exe to official install.wim（win7 sp1），then I run windows update , it Prompt KB3042058 needs installation, and I can't intergrate KB3042058 into install.wim offline .

is present net framework 4.7 in the UpdatePack7R2?

 

yes , my UpdatePack7.log shows KB3042058 is intergrated successful also , but it seems that windows-update don't think so . win7 sp1 enterprise .

 

Can i just click on the .Exe file and update my windows 7 Home Premium x64.

No, only the win 7 native dotnet version is supported/updated by the pack.

 

You can integrate 4.7 separately after you've simplix'd the iso. 4.7 will work then.
