I try installing it, well when windows check it automatically is the list gone(I mean the list before gone because installed), dont list like before(full list about 400/30x update not include with language pack). now the rest just update net framework version and security net framework. I think is full update windows until this release, I said in my mind.. Question 1 Is the update include .net framework? Question 2 in windows 7 and windows 8,there are different method update like GDR and LDR.. what simplix pack using method? so if manual update(if tuesdaypatch come) and using abbodi script will be easier to know. Question 3 All update are ready installed with simplix pack, then manual update if any update skipped by simplix pack. re-run again will be install whole update again or not? thanks
1. Only the win 7 native .net3.5 is supported/updated by the pack. 2. It installs the updates WU also would offer, except the ones containing "telemetry" and in some the single non telemetry packages will be installed. 3. The pack first scans for installed updates and installs the remaining ones.
Like WU, Simplix use the normal GDR branch for updates however, since March 2016, GDR is dropped/removed from Windows 7 updates, all updates are LDR only since then
thank you enthousiast and abbodi1406, sorry late, something wrong with isp...so cant online.. if so, then I can using your sricpt whd installer to update win7, if telemetry found, I can check abbodi w7 updates, so I can avoided that..
Does this work on Ryzen pc? I have a Motherboard B350 chipset: Ab350 fatality k4 gaming, with cpu Ryzen 5 1600 I was wondering if i can use this version? thanks so much.
If I'm googling this right, you're either asking about some 18-year-old problem with PC that can barely run windows7, or you're concerned about the recently discovered design flaw in intel chips, which is currently not patched officially.
Microsoft has released the security patch for the CPU vulnerabilities (Meltdown and Spectre) now; Win7: support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4056897/windows-7-update-kb4056897 www catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=KB4056897 Win8: support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4056898/windows-81-update-kb4056898 www catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=KB4056898 Sorry for the way I've posted them, but I can't post links with this lurker account Addition info on the exploits are neatly compiled here; meltdownattack.com
USB 3.0 Drivers pack are now included in Simplix pack (since some months ago), so you do not need to add anything, just integrate Simplix pack with UP7Integrator to your install.wim, then during first boot only the required driver will be installed on your system. This means you do not have USB 3.0 drivers available during install (as they are not integrated to boot.wim) but best way to solve this is just take an 8.1.iso (same caracteristics as your 7) and put your 7 install.wim into sources folder replacing the one from 8.1, that's the way I have my ISO, this also allow you to use install.esd (a more compacted version for install.wim), very good option when installing from USB (FAT32 formated).
i've used custom available win 7 iso with probably win 8.1 boot.wim and i got troubles installing it on some old system.. probably due to nx or something.. i want to create one perfect iso which works on both new and old pc.. could you pls suggest how to add usb 3.0 drivers in boot.wim of win 7?
I wish you good luck but remember there are a lot of USB 3.0 drivers versions per OEM (also many OEM's as Renesas, AMD, Intel, VIA, etc) and you can not put all on a boot.wim, only one set at a time.
