Well... There's no right way to edit an ISO imo. I have my own way with it so I wasn't required to learn the other ways. Besides, everybody starts somewhere. But thanks, you're so cool ent, you know everything!
I don't know anything, i do know who to trust with giving information You only showed you aren't the one to be trusted with anything...
How come? I really missed all your points. Btw, I was just kidding mate. Not trying to be polemical here I think you're a very fine gentleman and a precious member of this forum.
Thanks turtle. This Integrator comes with "Drivers" folder which includes BootWim (x64, x86), InstallWim (x64,x86) subfolders. I'm guessing we could use @Atak_Snajpera 's drivers for integration here. Snajpera's tool has more features like updated installer (I don't know its purpose- better NVMe support?...) but if you just need your simplix pack and some drivers bundled then you can go with this integrator.
"If there is no problem with it, it will be replaced by an official release" so (if there is no problem) it become the official release or another updatepack with different size/hash/hotfixes will be releases instead?
Absolutely, you can test it if you want to, and report or wait till others do so and simplix posts it as official ...T
If people wouldn't depend/rely on all sorts of tools they would have been ready by now, just use the dism commands to integrate the drivers, it's no rocket science. Simplix is just a fast help to integrate the bulk of the updates for me, all other stuff i do manually.
Agreed. But I suppose you'll also agree that the preferred methods & tools will vary from person to person, according to their purposes and individual experience... It's one thing to build one's toolset to perform a collection of tasks he will do frequently (and he's already familiar with). It's another thing to select tools for a set of tasks that one has not performed at all in the last few years, will now be performed intensively / extensively for a couple of weeks, and after that will be used very rarely, with intervals of months of even years between each need ...
There is really nothing much to do, this is what i do monthly: Pre-production: dism the (w)lan and nvme drivers and nvme updates in the wims (usb3.x drivers from win-raid only to winre.wim and boot.wim). Integrate ms dart in boot.wim and winre.wim Production: Run simplix offline on x86 starter and x64 home basic (usb integration disabled) Install both sku's in vmware in audit mode, install dotnetfx471 + LP, leftover updates and directx9c, sysprep and capture to wim. Mount both sku's and run the simplix usb3.x integrator. Offline set-edition the 2 sku's to all higher sku's. Create the desired iso's.
