No idea, that's why I included the detail. However, I made a typo should be 14th: time-data stamp of simplix's post is: "22:34, 14-04-2018"
Since UpdatePack7R2-18.4.15.exe is no longer in TEST / Evaluation mode, maybe it's time to update the OP... I installed it on a live W7 Pro-x64 system and a W7 Pro-x64 compilation for an .iso... No issues...
I recently used UpdatePack7R2 v18.2.18 to update some Win7 iso images. Do I need to use UpdatePack7R2-18.4.15 anytime soon?
I get that. I wanted to know if there are any features the new version adds or could I still use version 18.2.18 to access the same updates (similar to other apps in the wild)...
There are new kinda exploits coming out, variants of spectre or meltdown, windows patches some of them so yeah use the latest updates. If available, update your bios too.
Forgive me if it is a stupid question, but in #1 the update is form 18.2.18 As this means that the link in #1 is updated, why is there no 15.4.18 Please do not misunderstand my question, I really appreciate simplex! I am simply puzzled
See my post #1749... forum.oszone.net/thread-257198.html UpdatePack7R2-18.4.15.exe is no longer in TEST / Evaluation mode, it has been released by Simplix...
I will test run the new pack tomorrow and update the OP, i am enjoying the nice weather and preparing for a holiday next week, trying to have some sort of real life too.
yep you deserve; don't worries about "things" nonsense you know what I'm speaking ok and thanks for the update bro
@Enth, when I used UpdatePack7R2-18.4.15, I was using 2016 LTSB/C-x64 has a Host OS... Maybe a DISM issue with 17133.1 ???
It probably is, same as with previous new windows releases happened, simplix has to check this out. or it is this 17133.1 install, was planning on a new fresh 17134.1 install tomorrow (will be later today now)
