Ok thanks so i dont need to integrate the UpdatePack7R2-18.6.15 in to my iso i can just install my clean Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 and after installation can i just dubbel click on the updatepack file or must i run it in the terminal?
That was not your initial question But it's better to offline integrate when you can, it should be faster.
Sorry, i will try to make a integrated ISO and i will test to update live from Windows just to see how it works
Copy the magnet link. In your torrent client, create a torrent from url(i think there's such an option in every torrent client).
That magnet link doesnt work for me . Has anyone got a magnet or torrent or direct link that does work please ?
WOW !!! LostED to the rescue !!!!! That was fast !!! Thanks . I've been trying to download that magnet for the last day and even went as far as putting my operating system in again just to see if it was my system that was the problem .
You need to integrate the proper USB3 and SATA drivers for your particular controllers. Find the drivers you need on win-raid forum, integrate them into boot.wim index 2 and in your install.wim, make a bootable usb for your pc(uefi-csm or legacy) and off you go. Do that with a clean windows 7 image, tho. Then apply simplix updatepack to it. There's honestly no need for any additional tools to do the job.
Thanks for the above and latest pack. Why is the version listed at the start of this page, page 1, still so old compared to all these newer releases? I believe is was mostly to provide a known stable version pre-MS updates for the processor overload and OS slowdown issues, but is that still the reason or something else? Thanks.
It's because simplix performs changes on an irregular basis. Meaning he could release a pack and 2 days later issue an update for that pack to fix some bug. That's why OP isn't updated instantly after a new release.
Found the problem to this: EDIT: I tried gigabytes USB install tool i get pass the driver required problem and the install starts but freezez at the installation completed when the bar is filled about 70% have tried twice but no luck After selection of language when windows starts to install, un plug usb mouse & usb keyboard then it does not freeze when install is complete & has restarted & you are going to fill in name and pc name plug in mouse & keyboard. did not have to download USB3 or SATA drivers, after windows is up and running all motherboard drivers installs fine except for realtek audio get ATKEX_cmd.exe has stopped working must click stop program 4 times to get rid of the message. another thing in the device manager under other devices PCI Memory Controller & SM Bus Controller has a yellow ! dont know how to fix that.
Sigh... I guess it's easier to just perform some voodoo ritual than to actually do what's necessary. I'm hoping you at least install proper drivers after windows is already running rather than relying on windows/windows update to install drivers for you. Open up google and learn how to search for drivers using a component's hardware id.
Yes maybe i will do some voodoo ritulas and maybe give up and install win 10 but i really like win 7 so will keep trying. yes i have installed the proper motherboard drivers like chipset, vga ,lan but must figure out how to get the sound working realtek audio or buy a USB DAC Thanks will google for the component hardware id, or do you have some good sites i can read about that?
