@Enthousiast I just noticed something. It's a bit inaccurate. Should be "into system and recovery environment". Maybe even clarify "system" as "install.wim" and "recovery environment" as "winre.wim".
/NVME Switch It is a problem because the sources folder in boot.wim is not updated. It still contains 17514 files. The Installation media has been updated, so the installation media sources folder contains the 18015 files. If you run setup.exe from boot.wim, it does not recognize the installation media. If you have used the /NVME switch, you will need to integrate KB2990941-v3 KB3087873-v2 manually into boot.wim
Again, why is it A PROBLEM, when it was never INTENDED for the boot.wim. The updatepack was always intended for and used on the install.wim. Now, in addition to that, it also works with the winre.wim, which has nothing to do with the boot.wim.
Why not use Boss11’s UP7Integrator v18.05.01 and copy the appropriate NVMe drivers to: (Your path) \UP7Integrator\DRIVERS\BootWim & InstallWim ??? This method works well for other drivers…
I don't know if that will interfere with the /NVMe switch on the install.wim part. I have my base wims with manually integrated the 2 NVMe updates and the win-raid drivers. Did simplix do the same with the NVMe drivers like he did with the USB3.x drivers, not integrating them directly into install.wim but used an installer? Or did he just add-driver dism command?
You can't use the updatepack on the boot.wim at all. The pack errors out with "Service Pack 1 required". The boot.wim's build is 7600, not 7601. Plus, there's no way to cancel updates integration, so theoretically, if you could use the pack on the boot.wim, you'd end up with a pretty big boot.wim.
He meant to install the drivers by using boss911 integrator, it has a driver folder in which you can drop drivers and it integrates it then into boot.wim.
I am aware of that. I have a batch file I use for updating and adding drivers. The MS nvme updates are .msu files. The add-package command is used. The purpose of my post was to let people know: If you use the /nvme switch, you will not be be able to install windows by the usual method.
Simplix integrates them directly using the add-package command. They are .msu files. KB2990941-v3.msu KB3087873-v2.msu
I know what the updates are https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...-win7-distribution.45005/page-55#post-1341615, i asked about the drivers The USB3.x driver integration installs an online installer instead of /add-driver them in the wims, so i was curious what he did for the NVMe drivers and which ones he integrates..
last simplix pack not corresponding to the size indicated around 1,40MB and should be 690MB. in the other side download button in the link is inactive. Any advices would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
The file with filesize 1MB is a download tool, it downloads the full pack. And what downloadbutton is inactive? All buttons work.
