thank you both guys for your quick help is much appreciated but can you make this modded bios as a bootable iso because this particular time i am in lack of a pen drive and thus i cannot install it....I know i maybe be overdemanding but please you are my only help!!!!thanks again

i think i do so....I burn it boot it and then flash the bios right????
am i missing something????

 

So here is what i did:
1. boot from burned iso
2. start operating system with cd-rom support
3. i typed "JFL92118.BAT"
4. the program started but it gave me an error "open file failed JFL92118.WPH"

So is something i did wrong or something else???

Type Phlash16 JFL92118.WPH /X /O /C at the command prompt..

 

Nope the same error appears.... :-(

 

Try the .ROM file..Can you flash the unmodded files???
You may have to use a Floppy or USB device of some sort..

 

The same results with the .rom file....what to say maybe you are right i should use a floppy or usb drive..... :-(

 

make sure the bios is not read only...then try to use different media...

 

I have news....i managed to get the bios flashed...the think i had to do it's just mention the exact location of JFL92118.WPH by typing Phlash16 D:\JFL92118.WPH /X /O /C but now the problem is that the certificate doesn't work....both the certificate and serial is installed correctly but when i restart and check in computer properties it says that it needs activation....Any idea????

Yep..Upload a RWEverything report and/or a slic dump printout..ther is likely a mismatch in strings somewhere..Compal and all are a bit hinky by history..

Very good..You are the first to have successful activation from Boot CD..(at least that reported)..Most have been using the recovery floppy..

Did you use the new mod or old mod with new flash parameters???
