SLIC 2.1 activtion not working on Gateway m6881, help pls

    Hi everyone, long time lurker, first time poster.
    I have a Gateway m6881, originally came with vista, had to install 7
    I flashed the BIOS using this mod by busykid

    Flash completed fine, SLIC toolkit 3.2 reports that there is SLIC 2.1 and everything is ok.

    When I try to activate 7 ultimate it gets flagged as pirated after some updates.
    I use the HP cert file, tried several serials, nothing works.
    Tried installing from an SP1 dvd, original retail release DVD followed by MS's SP1 upgrade, activated status doesn't last even 1 day.
    I don't know what if anything I am doing wrong. Any ideas?

    are the dvd's you're using clean unmodified copies of windows 7?

    can you kindly point me to where these certs and keys are? i am a noob and can't find them

    if you have a valid slic 2.1 modded bios when you ran daz loader it would have installed the correct matching certificate and key.
