    if u only want set Asstag, u can use cctk.exe --asset=xxxx
    cctk full name is DELL CLIENT CONFIGURATION TOOLKIT, it can download from dell site.

    i'm looking for Plattags.exe and PlatformsTags32.exe. also, if u have the instructions on using it, please let me know as well..

    Do you have (SmMfgCfg32/64.exe), it looks like plattags can only change the asset tag and not the service tag.

    We need to change the service tag to enable the slic2.1

    No Go, checked with my resource and they have that utility on strict lock down. Supposedly it was never to be public knowledge and only top engineers have access to it. Sorry guys you will have to wait for a leak.
