SLIC 2.1 Question???

    I have used that key with dell slic 2.1 about 4 hours ago and activated it without any problem.

    OEM key works with any Slic i guess.

    will dell put out updated slic 2.1 bios versions for older computers? i have the dell dimensions c521(bios 1.1.11) and love it running with win7(thanks to hazars 7loader) but my slic is 2.0 and i would not dare to hardmod the bios,i have a horrible feeling that m$ will get around the 7loader soon? but i hope iam wrong.

    It would be highly unlikely that ANY manufacturer would issue Windows 7 specific BIOS updates for any motherboard type or model that was not intended to be sold new with Windows 7.

    thats what i thought,guess its time to have a read up how to hardmod the dell c521 bios :eek: but what i have read so far its hard to do on a dell

    If you have a Dell slic then you should use a Dell cert.
