    Heey all,

I just came here, so total noob please forgive me :)
But the question I wanted to ask is that I want a slic 2.1 bios.
But I am so scared of doing something wrong that I ask some help here.

    Motherboard model: Quanta 30d0
    Motherboard Chipset: Nvidia MCP65
    Bios Manufacterer: Phoenix Techonologies
    Bios Version: F.32
    Computer Brand HP dv6710ed

So I wanted to install slic 2.1 but dont know which bios things to download.
I got a tool though but that requires to select youre old bios and then select some slp/slic files.
If anyone can help I would be forever gratefull :D

    Thanks in advance!

Again my apologies if this is completely inappropriate.

I'm on the same boat as you!

I have an HP DV9500 series laptop with Phoneix bios !

    BIOS VersionF.22

I'd like to know how to get my SLIC 2.0 to SLIC 2.1, i believe mine is 2.0 since it is about 1yr 6 months old :\.

Just use wow7 or something. It's much easier than hassling with BIOS, and is repairable if not installed correctly, unlike many BIOS without the knowledge to repair. Plus, Phoenix is a pain in the butt from what I've read/seen.

well I have this tool called "SLIC_Dump_TooKit"

from that david user i believe :S from thread. Does that upgrade 2.0 to 2.1 and what does WoW7 actually do? is it like a loader to activate win 7?!
