Hi 911medic I put it into the Windows 7 forum because I figured that's where most modders and requesters will go in the future, because they'll be making and looking for Windows 7 compatible bios files. I didn't want to crosspost but if you feel that the Windows Vista forum should contain a reference, I will gladly post a link there.
great idea.. can you add a rating that shows how many reported that a certain bios mod is working flawless? there are so many idiots who do not working bios mods just for fun.
Tested the Gigabyte GA-965P-DQ6 on a revision 1.0 board, all good Also do you want us to put different SLIC versions up? The one listed for the above board is a HP SLIC, i also have the Bios with the DELL SLIC in my posession, which i'll add if you wish
While we can't and won't restrict uploads with different SLIC, I don't really see the point. Unless you're going from Asus with DELL SLIC to Asus with ASUS SLIC which could be considered "cleaner" @delah: did you try activating it? My 5652 combined with 2.1 lo*der also shows the old 2.0 SLIC in RWeverything but it is activated nonetheless. If it really doesn't activate Windows 7 combined with correct given key and cert, edit the entry and add a comment describing your problem.

Yes, tried activating, no luck. RW-E says slic 2.0 as well. I know their is no write protect on the laptops BIOS cos I only flashed the official 1.35 bios from acer's site three days ago.<---could that be it? Do I have to have a lower BIOS version befoer flashing with ahigher version? EDIT: Just tried that, flashed 1.34 then the modded 1.35 - still 2.0
