Not on this notebook, so no loaders present. But I'll do a complete format and will see the mbr gets cleaned, so I'm 100% sure it's not from anything else, although i doubt it will help.

Okay so I got a question. My Laptop BIOS has just been updated today to include 2.1 SLP from Toshiba. No need to modify it; they did it for me. So I guess my question is this. Does Daz's loader work if I instert certificate and what not? Or do I use the program in this thread to do it? Been using the grldr, non-bios for awhile now.

Forget my newb question I figured it out :D Thanks anyways obviously I didn't read the STICKY at the top of the forum cause I'm so newb.

I keep getting this error message when I run the program: "Dump Error ! (SLIC Table Not Find ! )". I've restarted the computer and made sure that I'm the Admin, but the problem still exists. What can I do to fix this?

I've got this same error after flashing with a bios modded by nojuan999. I've got a motherboard with a dual bios, would this effect it. (I have checked that I'm booting from the bios which I flashed).

    Thanks

David, how much effort would it take you to create a side project of this, one that can return the SLIC version in string format from the command line. Maybe also output the SLIC/CERT/KEY via command line.

Thinking could be useful for the Loaders/Batch scripts and definitely more effective then reading the RSDT string from Registry or BIOS.Version from WMI.

What do you think, is that possible, or could you give us some pointers on how we would go about doing it ourselves ?

SLIC dump successful..what if i do clean OS installation?

    :confused:hi all,

i used this SLIC dump toolkit and now my i have SLIC 2.1 in my BIOS.

my question is. now if i do a clean installation of windows7 then will this SLIC table remains in my BIOS after clean installation ?

    or
again i have to do the SLIC dump process again?
