Hi, This means that you have a key and certificate installed in your operating system. The PKey is the OEM:SLP key and the certificate is that file with the extension .XRM-MS <-- I am guessing you must have installed them using command prompt or an application. The part about "SLIC table not find" means there is no SLIC table in your BIOS, so even if you have the key and certificate in your OS it will not be able to activate it. This is the way the activation works: OEMs pre-activate windows on their computers by adding a SLIC table into the BIOS.. to verify that it is a legit OEM computer. If you have a SLIC table in your BIOS then all you have to do is install they key and certificate into Windows. The certificate must match the SLIC but any key will work as long as it is for your edition (e.g any OEM:SLP ultimate key if you are installing ultimate edition). Once that is done then it will become activated. There are two versions of SLIC tables. There is 2.0 for Vista and 2.1 which works for both Vista and Windows 7. Since your BIOS does not have one you need to search these forums for a mod.. or use a loader (a mod = modified BIOS, someone has inserted the SLIC table into it using a tool)
perhaps your bios may not have slic bios 2.1 or this mod wrongly .. Please try with Everest .. Option Motherboard ACPI and see if the slic section is present and version has 2.1
"SLIC table not find" means your pc have no SLIC table in the bios always. If you want to active your oem win7 ,Must meet the following conditions: 1,the“Advance” view the SLIC Diagnosis right must green seal and the version must 2.1 .If red you'll not active your win7. 2,You must load the corresponding and correct OEM certificate and serial number.
Not virus alarm 1. Bios settings should enable acpi 2.0 support .... After This setting ; does not detect the virus yours virus programs... And does not make bad review
Cert Backup??? So in the "Advanced" tab the "Pkey&Cert.Backup" section I pressed the "Backup" button ... but where the heck did it back it up to? Help please thanks
Edit: i pressed the cancel button when choosing a save location but it still said it backed it up ... to where i dont know ... it asked me to save a txt file? It doesn't backup the actual *.rm-rms file? thanks
First it saves the txt file, this contains your key. Once that is saved then another box will popup asking where to save the .xrm-ms file (also called the certificate )
Hey I was trying to browse through this thread and find an answer to my "Dump error ! (SLIC TABLE Not Find ! )" but had little luck. I was wondering if anyone could help me as I am pretty clueless.
