    PSW.onlineGame3
Is there another clean download site?

I have an Acer Aspire 5810TZG laptop. It came with Windows 7 Home Premium FINN preinstalled. I formatted the hard drive and installed Ubuntu on it. But now I want Windows 7 back. So, if I install Windows from Windows 7 Upgrade Disk, run SLIC Dump Toolkit and activate Windows with the PKey, do it works? The Upgrade Disk looks like it's OEM, so do I need to change ei.cfg to it's Retail? And if it works, is this illegal?

Just install Win 7 (any version) with correct SLP OEM key & then install certificate that corresponds to your SLIC
    As easy as that

It is not included with SLIC Toolkit 3.2, FYI the reason the MGADiag report detects Genuine C&C as compatible Oembios set is due to the fact your PC is equipped with a 'GENUINE' Intel processor.
(with other words you should be able to pre-activate every XP system equipped with a Intel processor using the Genuine C&C Oembios set)

RE: "Dump Error ! (SLIC Table Not found ! )

On a machine with a SLIC 2.1 bios, WIn7 activated after applying the latest updates (2010-12)- all except (1) in which the update was for probing system to see if system files had been modified to activate I am now getting "Dump Error ! (SLIC Table Not found ! ) when running SLIC Toolkit v3.2. (Running and logged in as ADMIN)

Previously running SLIC Toolkit on same machine was problem-free- Now it lags (hourglass)- then gives "Dump Error ! (SLIC Table Not found ! ) error message...

Anyone having this problem? Know of what update is interfering?

    "

Perhaps other Intel parts? Motherboard chipset, SSD?

Hi, I'm trying to run the tool under WinPE 3.0. However it says:
Do you know what is missing there? Thanks.

It would be nice if I can check the SLIC status before starting Win7 install from PE 3.0.

Oh, never mind. I was running PE 3.0 amd64.
The tools works under PE 3.0 i386.
I guess the missing subsystem is WoW64.

Sort of the wrong section but it depends on what the loader says on it's details line.

If it says nothing about the SLIC size or SLIC data then you need to disable type 4 memory and reinstall the loader. If that fails then select to use the legacy setting instead.

    Thanks for the reply.

Sorry if I posted in the wrong section. Just want to figure out why it says "Invalidated" on SLIC status. Don't know much about activation.

I followed the "Q&A" for Windows Loader but nothing worked. I want to try everything that's possible to activate Windows 7 (except flashing the bios). Any ideas?
