ok ..now with better picture..No cert.. Did you get a confirmation from opa tool that cert was installed? edit: I see now you said you got confirmation
Well trying to find how to start over (I think it means to clear the key ...and cert?) buyt this forum is huge. So if you could point me in the right direction how to do this. Im sure I can get it too work haha. Thanks so far for your help Very much appreciated!!!
Yes a very fresh install on my new rig. Skipped it...(activate later, I think it was called) But added a key with the OpaTool right? But seemed like that cert wasn't valid anymore. The second one seems to be tho.. Or did you mean do a complete new install of win7 ?
fresh install .. skip like you did then use cmd line like in above thread reason: there are log traces of activity .. a nice clean activation is preferred
Ok, thanks for all the help. Gonna read some more about GPT, MBR, EFI etc To see what's the best option for my new install. Might as well put my 3x3TB in raid0 while im at it Again thanks for all the quick reply's. <3
Your welcome !! also read about the down fall of raid if the drives are not enterprise class drives .. if that is your case
Little update. Stubborn as I am, I first wanted to try all options before doing a reinstall. Tried to remove all instances of my key. Used some commands in cmd. Wish I wrote them down, for others that are like me......but I didn't (sorry for that hehe). And after trying a while, I finally succeeded. Well at least that's the way it's looking now. Redid the steps with this SLIC toolkit. And used the good cert first, and then the key. And all is looking pretty good here (Now just hope it stays this way). Updates from M$ works, and everything looks like it should be. Thanks again for helping me. And being patient with a guy that just signed up on your forums. <3
hi guys, I'm trying to activate my Win 7 Ultimate with the SLIC Toolkit v3.2 but getting this error -
unless you have a backup solution for 9TB of data your asking for problems putting 3 drives in raid 0
DavidXXW I downloaded today and take a look ... Avira Free Antivirus version 12.3.0.33 Virus or unwanted program 'TR/Agent.730154 [trojan]' detected in file 'D: \ Downloads \ Compressed \ SLIC_ToolKit_V3.0.rar Can you give me a feedback on this? Regards, Marcelo "Sushi"
Don't know from where you downloaded your archive from but latest file is named SLIC_ToolKit_V3.2.rar not SLIC_ToolKit_V3.0.rar and is downloadable from first page in the section scanned with avast free no threats.
