Ok Thank you. I'm more careful since.... my first moded Bios was on my Crosshair. Someone else patched it for me (Request Thread). After installing/Flashin (ASUS Bios-Integrated EZ-Flash) all was black and I had to buy a new Bioschip, there was no way to fix it. My new Sabertooth z77 comes with a UEFI Bios, with USB-BiosFlashback and i dont know if i can fix it (Witch this new tool), if the same happened like in my Crosshair. Edit. My Fokin English makes my realy SICK...you probably also OK, ich patched it by myself. I created a MD5 and a SFV file from my aktual request bios. The MD5 and SFV test are passed with both Bios files (My and Request Bios) so i think the patched Bios Files are both ok !? Edit.2 Doest this info mean my Original Biosfile allready has a SLIC ?? Sorry for the noob questions ...
Don't worry... English isn't my native language too. Back to the topic, you could try AMI EFI recovery on the prev mobo. Can you show the previous mod??
Errors reported by SLIC Toolkit Hello, I have a Dell computer that I am trying to license for SBS 2011. The Windows currently requires a Product Key, so I think that I need to determine ACPI SLIC info in the BIOS so that I can then find the correct OEM certificate; and then I can use an SLP Product Key. Would appreciate if someone can confirm I understand this correctly. I have run v3.2 of the toolkit on the Dell. There are some errors being reported Would appreciate some direction on what I need to do resolve Thanks
From the link for 3.2 on the first page, I get SLIC_ToolKit_V3.2.rar archive. If I extract the .exe from said RAR, all three hashes match. Just be aware that on the datafile host site you MUST uncheck their download manager or else you will not get a genuine file, but a crapware bundled one!
What do I have to click to save (only) the stored Win 8 key in UEFI BIOS? Do I have to click on "save" buttons all 5 tabs: Basic, Advance,SLP1.0, ACPI, memory Acess? How do I later restore the previously saved data? I found no opposite "load" button. I want to anonymize my Win 8 key (temporarily). How do I overwrite the current key with random key/number? Is this Toolkit upgrade-aware? That means if I save the current UEFI info data, then later update a new firmware. Can I import then the previously saved data into new UEFI firmware?
