@SunLion Hello, it may seems a dumb question, but since I am not quite sure how to use this kind of script, I want to know more. I used ""en-us_windows_11_iot_enterprise_ltsc_2024_x64_dvd_f6b14814.iso"", put it in ""C:\24H2_Integrator_7.8.5\ISO"" , run the script and chose slim, it completed but where is the output .iso file? I don't know how to install it in Virtualbox if it is not outputted in a new iso... I knew it did something and the ""DVD" folder is modified, but dunno what to do next
That's right, the processed image is in the DVD folder. The script does not allow you to create a new ISO from it. Now you need, for example, to use UlraISO to create an .iso image from a DVD and, for example, Rufus to write it to a flash drive in order to install the OS obtained after the Integrator. Perhaps the author of this tool will provide this feature for new .iso file in the future.
Hello everyone! For those who want to create the ISO, I created a separate script for that. Coloque-o na pasta 24H2_Integrator_7.8.5 e execute como administrador. The ISO "Win11_24H2_x64_en-US.iso" will be created in your language and the WInfo.txt file with the image information will also be created next to the script. No password
It works fine if you don't add autounattend.xml I don't particularly use Ventoy because I like to have my autounattend.xml with my settings and in my tests I had a lot of trouble with Ventoy. So I gave up on it.
@SunLion.Is it possible to add a question to the script about whether or not to install Xbox service ? Thank you!
Hello, there are more and more questions and answers in the script. Of course this is very convenient, but people want to add more and more of them. In this regard, perhaps it makes sense for you to think about a graphical Menu in which you could select tasks for all occasions and from it run a script to perform these tasks?
It's really getting complicated. There are too many options. Maybe I'll just do two: Slim and Default. No more choices. I'll think about it...
@SunLion Hello sir, sorry for another dumb question, maybe many other people have asked this, but I am thinking skilled programmer like you may have different answer. Is it possible to remove / disable / hide the ""Get Started"" thingy in the start menu? I remember Google told me it is not removable some years ago, but like most of you here, I strive for an absolute clean, no bloat Windows system, so I wish to remove all things that I won't use. I recognize that if that can be done, then you or others will have been done that long ago, so I am just curious why this get started thingy is so persistent that cannot be removed.
Making just two options: Slim and Default is of course much easier than making a graphical Menu and probably a more rational solution. Personally, I am more interested in the Slim option than the Default one. The smaller the install.wim file ends up being, without losing the main functions, the better.
The problem is that many people want to disable Edge and Defender, for example, but they want to enable Store and other things. We will develop the idea further by listening to more users...
It is clear that people here need to understand that there are no universal solutions due to the complexity of their implementation. And most importantly, people must understand that in order to successfully use this or that script, you need to have at least basic knowledge of the operating features of the OS. Of course, there is a solution for dummies, this is a graphical Menu. In which everything is clear and understandable. In this case, the number of changeable parameters can be practically unlimited. I moved the On-Off dial to one or another parameter and that’s it. But here we probably need a completely different level of programming to implement this idea. Personally, I use your work on the script only as a base and customize it to my requirements. I delete something from it, change something in it and add something to it in order to get what I personally need from this script. So thank you so much for your work on this wonderful script!
Is it possible to re enable updates post install ? I was able to receive normal updates but now i can't get ltsc updates. I have ltsc iot version.
Yes, the ToggleWindowsUpdate_v3.3 tool is now automatically installed in StartMenu\Programs\Utilities. Just run it to enable or disable Windows Update.
