I used both scripts "24H2_Integrator_10.9" and "24H2_Integrator_10.10". With "24H2_Integrator_10.10" the ISO size is about 150 MB smaller and I think it is the better script. Still, everyone decides for themselves what is better. SunLion. You've done wonders again. Thank you so much.
I tried both options: integration of updates is performed by the script itself and using W10UI for integration. Personally, I did not notice a big difference in this. In both cases, the image was updated without any questions at all. It's probably up to you. Personally, I prefer updating the image by the script itself.
===================== 24H2_Integrator_10.10 ===================== - Updated the all.txt file (26100.4061 version) - Two scripts were kept: 1 - 24H2_Integrator_10.9.cmd => integrates updates through the script itself 2 - 24H2_Integrator_10.10.cmd => integrates updates with abbodi's W10UI The choice of script is up to the user Please read the Changelog.txt and README.txt files before using the script. https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...ic-legacy-windows.86552/page-120#post-1872013 Enjoy!
@SunLion I used the latest script 10.9 & 10.10 though for some reason store is still there in the start menu along with other removed apps? This is my preferred choice because it is very suitable for old computers as hosts. I use Core2 Duo processors for script testing.
I looked at the log and didn't see any errors when executing the script commands. Have you installed Openshell? Have you tried running Store to see if it works? I'm not sure, but it looks like those items pinned to the Windows start menu are for you to download. Try running Store and let me know what happens.
Using openshell manually, store does open may have something to do with the recent update? I'm doing a further test now. Tested in a VM with fresh soucre iso Store installs & opens?
I have now installed the test with 24H2_Integrator_10.9 and pt-br_windows_11_business_editions_version_24h2_x64_dvd_ecc90645.iso. Created W11_26100.4061_Business_Pro_Default with the settings below: Please note the attached images, which do not show the apps that were removed, but only Calculator, Windows Tools and Settings, when the standard start menu is opened. When Openshell is installed, the start menu shows in All Apps only the apps that were not removed in the option above. I can't understand what happened with your process... It seems to me that the only difference is the ISO image used as source. You used 26100.1.240331-1435.GE_RELEASE_CLIENTPRO_OEMRET_X64FRE_EN-US.ISO I used 26100.1742 - pt-br_windows_11_business_editions_version_24h2_x64_dvd_ecc90645.iso Did you modify something in the %OEM% folder?
I only use the resulting install.wim & don't use the oem dir in my tests. I will download a Win 11 bus iso & retest.
I use only the Slim version in your script. So I want to ask you: could you add to the Slim version the choice for the user, to remove Windows Media Player from the image or not. Some people don't like it, and some are quite happy with it. Personally, I am quite happy with it and I don't want anything else - I guess I'm a conservative.
Interesting case, why it works out that way for you is not clear. I conducted a test with similar settings to yours, but I don't have the Store. I also only use the install.wim file, I don't care about the rest and I don't use it.
