You can't... If you want to use a newer or older version of the script, you have to start from scratch -- there's literally no other way as you're creating custom install media, and any other script or tool that does anything like what Slimdown10 does, it would be the same...

That's a bit or an over reaction, Slimdown10 is certainly less 'dead ' than Windows 10... Windows 10 will not be updated anymore except for security fixes for about a year, and then a little longer if you want to pay a tub of money.

Unlike CSS, and Windows 10, Slimdown10 is FOSS. Open Source never dies, anyone can look at Wojciech 's script, add to it, update or change anything they wish at any time to suit any needs. The gift he's given people here with the thousands of man hours he has poured into it, is, and will remain truly great, and useful for a long time.

Billions of people will continue to use Windows 10 in its static feature state, well after it's no longer supported. As well most security updates have been moot as far as what Slimdown10 does, so continuing to use Slimdown10 has just as much veracity as using Windows 10, or using Slimdown 10 when Wojciech first started the project.

Perhaps in realizing people still get a better version of Windows 10 using Slimdown 10, people that never donated to the project will offer a little value for value for all the hard work Wojciech poured into it and donate a little money -- you pay a lot more for crappy useless things every day, that don't make your life any better...

It's certainly a long shot, but were there a honest outpouring of support, financial support that is -- there might be some hope Wojciech might rekindle some new project in another venue (even though he's said otherwise). But consider what he got here for his effort here so far besides constant harping for help, and absolutely asinine trolling.

Who here would do as much for nothing?

    Ditto, for the most part...
therein lies the (probable) danger... Utter deviation from the author's actual vision, something (I feel, at least appeared that) he was being pressured into (by some) here at MDL

IoT LTSC 2021 is supported for 10 years while LTSC 2021 is supported for 5 years.

I would define it as a false positive, also because you can easily open "Slimdown10.cmd" with any text editor and read everything that batch file does, right?

Out of pure curiosity - since I don't use antivirus - I would rename it just to see what happens with your av, and/or replace it with a different ".cmd" file just to see how your av behaves this time.
Direct experiences are the only ones that can really teach you something. IMO

    P. S. 1: Even because, unlike you, your av will also be very fast and very informed by its own database, but - unlike you - it is stupid.

    P. S. 2: An open-source project CANNOT be malicious by design.

See, there are things that annoy me.
Just as an example: if a naive and novice reader reads what is written about Slimdown10 and the fact that an av treats it as a threat, he gets scared and doesn't use it anymore.
And this fact can constitute a real threat this time both for Slimdown10 and for any future user.

First of all because I know what I'm doing and I know where I'm going when I'm on the Internet.

I also always have a backup image of my current system.
And last but not least, I use virtualization software that restores the system at reboot to how it was before.

Is your current system made by Slimdown10, if yes and Slimdown10 has infected the system [Just to be clear i am not saying it has], when virtualization software reboot and restore system wouldn't infected parts also be restored.

One of my systems is built running Slimdown10 to unbloat Windows ISO installation image.

Sure, but since it's not a malicious script what's your point?

How do you know ? when you said yourself "since I don't use antivirus".
