why not just use the regular script.? i tought you was going to try it on online system.? just download the required ISO place it inside the slim10 folder read instrucctions. then itll make all the changes to ISO just ready to be installed..
Thanks for the explanation, I am going to test the script on a VM, and then use the script on online system
I'm still digging through it myself, same as you, with not a lot of time to look and test things in depth. I'd suggest asking the guy in his channel comments or on GitHub -- he seems friendly and amenable and might be willing to do exactly what you ask. When I finally retire, this is something that will get my more ambitious time and attention -- until then I'm just sharing what I find, in hopes more people are working together to the same end in avoiding duplication of effort, and that work on more obscure venues is linked here. The progressively intrusive mess Microsoft is making of Windows only gets worse, and makes this a bigger and more onerous chore -- the more everyone rows the boat together, the better we'll get at dealing with it... I hope!
thanks yeah am also started digging. theres so many and some i dont even know what they do or if i need to leave on...like defender scan ect. i wnat to leave that as it is. itll take time to complete.
@hoa do you happen to know wich line or lines makes defender quarantine the script.? its annoying that everytime i make a new copy it quaranties the file.
because i want to keep it on. and would have to turn it back on. am splitting the script into many files . and find the line and just remove it
You could remove the folder where the scripts are in the Defender configuration, so that it ignores and does not track that path.
This is because the new location where you copy the script has not been deleted in Defender. I suggest you use a partition or folder for these processes with scripts and always keep them excluded in Defender.
