OK There was an error in resetbase. I will look into it. Did you install Openshell after installing the system?
In my research I found: 1 - When CompactOS is disabled the /StartComponentCleanup switch will not work. Check if you have disabled CompactOS on your system, as this may be the reason for the resetbase error. If you have disabled it, enable it again with the command below and repeat the process to see if the resetbase works correctly: From a command prompt as administrator: fsutil behavior set disableCompression 0 2 - According to Wkeller, Critical Start Menu error only appeared, when OpenShell was uninstalled. Which was normal, because built-in system Start Menu was unaivailable too. I don't know what happened to you, because I removed the automatic installation of Openshell from the script. Follow the procedure in item 1 and repeat the process with SD10v202_42. Only install openshell after the system is completely installed. Please use this attached script. Rename it to .cmd and replace in SD10v202_42 folder. Let's see what happens. Remember not to delete the log file.
I just created an iso with the tool, and it's amazing how fast it is. Much better than other tools I've tried previously. It's perfect. Congratulations.
After detecting the bugs, I went back to version 28 and started all over again. I would like you to test the attached scripts, in the same folder as SD10v202_42, since the hfixes are the same, to check if they are working correctly. Just copy the scripts to the SD10v202_42 folder and run the tests. I would appreciate it if you could report the results, please. password: mdl2024
Thank you for your effort. No error message anymore and Start menu works now. So what was the bug? Did you remove less things or the code is just better now (or both)?
I don't know what was going on. I decided to start over and it seems to have worked out well. Thanks!
Thank you hoak. And thank you SunLion and everyone involved in this thread. I am just trying to find a way to control windows. Its like trying to de-googling your world. Good Luck! Or having a search engine that gives you relevant content without amazon or Walmart adds dominating the results and giving up never finding what you searched for. Or noticing your personal data was just uploaded to OneDrive and your drives just finished encrypting, and windows needs to reboot to install updates....
