You can, but you're stuck with the horrible inconvenience of using third party apps to do it, that are faster, more reliable and use fewer system resources -- or if that's justs too much trouble you can just re-enable search...

I just want to read from my computer some movies on my TV..I don't need to share it..just read, and if I disable windows search, I can't..

 

I have Windows Search disabled and I can still watch movies from my laptop on my TV.
And not just movies, I can share everything from my laptop to my TV.

I use option 1. from the script.

 

If this is all your doing as bendeyar points out this it should just work -- but then again this is Windows networking... I was going to suggest apps like Kodi, Jellyfin or MediaPortal Media Center, if you want a FOSS solution, or Serviio, Universal Media Server if you don't care -- but something else is going on with your setup, do you have any applications installed that fool around with your networking settings?

Does the download have to be 1+Gb? I have limited internet

 

What i ment was: i have limited data plan each month. Does the download need to be 1gb? You mentioned it contains the test image, is that necessary in the download? Ty very much

 

An exception can be made for the colleague
and the script can be offered to him without the applications that are in the folder "SD10_Renewed_1.38\Hotfixes\APPX", the volume of which is about 1GB.
Or if there are only the necessary applications, then the volume is about 5-600M,
without store, music, video, whatsapp.

 

Aren’t those important bits for the toot to work properly? I thought the download had in it the brazilian iso that sunlion used for test.. nevermind ill just download the whole thing

 

I never use the apps I've marked in the picture.
It's not fatal.
