Good morning @matteone2000 I ran a new test with your modifications. It seems that the second script (B) replaces the one currently running, and therefore not all settings were applied. The original method also uses a permanent folder: C:\Install, which is used to apply the settings on the first login. For now, I will continue with the current model. Thank you very much for your help! Best regards
@SunLion in your \Install folder, can I completely remove the folder if I don't need any of them to install? what are files/folders must be kept? (I was thinking to keep three *.cmd files, DisableServices.cmd, DisableWindowsUpdate.cmd, RemoveOutlook.cmd. should I keep more?) I completely removed the \Install folder. run the script no problem but it failed to run UUP. therefore the install.wim stuck with 26100.1742. no any update from UUP (NOT 26200.7171 at end). what did I do wrong? Thanks,
Thanks, @bendeyar I did and I could see them in UUP folder. Am I still missing something? my present \Install folder.
Thanks again, @bendeyar I copied your setting, and re-running the script. the pop-up info telling me looking right, it works, , ,
Don't you have the LOG file? We can see what happened through it. Just to clarify how these apps are installed: 1. They are located inside the `install` folder and its subfolders, except for `DisableServices.cmd` and others. 2. They will be executed through the script `\PersonalTweaks\Config\W112xH2.cmd` 3. The code is conditional, meaning it will only execute if it exists in that path. So, if you delete all the subfolders, only four files will remain to be executed within the `install` folder.
Thank SunLIon, Attached please find two log files, one Pass (copying @bendeyar 's setting). Another Fail (stuck with 26100.1742. But no errors). I'm waiting for a PC to test new Install.wim.
Regarding 2xH2_Creator_14.5Fail: I would like you to post the Windows 11 topics in the other thread, please: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...-ltsc-2021-into-classic-legacy-windows.86552/ I want to keep this thread for Windows 10 only.
@SunLion I have noticed that Battery (Win 10) and Power & Battery (Win 11) sections in Settings -> System stuck in a loading state, not as relevant on a desktop, but useful for laptops. Do you know what change might cause this?
