What operating system is this? Windows 10 or 11? This option doesn't appear in my images... I'll create an en-us image and see if anything different appears.
It is Windows 10, I use a laptop, maybe it only appear when not using a desktop PC Yes I just checked, this menu is available only on battery powered devices, so laptops, tables, etc. It will be hidden on a desktop computer.
Yes, I don't use a laptop or notebook here, so that option doesn't appear. But I'll check the codes and see if there's anything affecting the battery.
@Shrinklier I searched for disabled services and didn't find anything that affects battery management. I found this tutorial you could try (attached).
Found the issue, enabling DiagLog and WdiContextLog loggers fix the problem, of course at the cost of privacy.
Thank you for your feedback. I will create an option to keep or not the deactivation of these loggers.
@SunLion or maybe others here..is there a solution to remove getting started and windows backup online, I mean without using your script.. many thanks..
My OS has migrated to SD11 from SD10. Thank SunLion's great work on both SD10 and SD11. I was using Windows 7 until last Spring/Summer one of my data vendors let it sudden death. Neither Windows 10 nor Windows 11 was my favorite as at that time python pyautogui NOT working well on Windows 10/11 because of new security settings. I had tested various versions of Windows OS, MSFT's version, tiny's version, wkeller's version and SunLion's update. SunLion's release is the best. I have used SD10 about six months. Some webs have upgraded again. I have to move to Windows 11 given Google/python has fixed its bug of pyautogui running on Windows 10/11.
We missed you! SunLion of course! But I miss all you guys when you go AWOL, and I don't see ya posting here for a while.
should i apply tweaks how to know what tweaks are going to be applied.? also the unantended, xml file do i need to just edit the name.? and what options are applied. should i just not use it,?
If you want, you can also not use ''unantended, xml''. If you want to use it, it is explained a little above what to change.
