Can this be used to create an x86 iso?
    Or is it only x64?

Oh! That's a VERY GOOD and valuable question as there are still x86 IoT LTSC SKUs under extended support, and these will by default have a much smaller install size and run both noticeably and measurably faster on constrained hardware, as well as have a much more rational and less f*cked up file system of the x64 SKUs -- which has some gaffs that are beyond ridiculous because Windows development is so broken.

My hunch is it will work, but unless or until someone tests it or SunLion vets x86 -- it will remain uncertain. I will personally test this because I do want to see if I can get a working production system going on x86 Windows, if it's more performant with more performant hardware in terms of DPC latency (it should be), lost frames, and 1% lows (probably won't be, but it might surprise because of less overhead) as well as how good x86 drivers are in 2026...

    (OP)
The script for downloading updates is currently updated only for x64.

I'll add support for x86 as well, and then we can run some tests.

I believe the main script should work on x86 too.

    I've updated the UUP\hfixes_all.txt and _PreDownloadAllUpdates_x86.cmd files.

Download them and run your tests...

    Good luck!

I am editing the script to include x86.

As soon as it is ready and tested, I will post it here.

    =====================
    SD10_Renewed_1.62
    =====================
    Updated to 1904x.7417

    - Added option to edit x86 and x64 images

To be identified by the script, the ISO images must include the characters indicated below in their filenames:
It is recommended to use the versions indicated above
The download links are in the file ISO\19045.1826_ESD_Links.txt

    - New options have been added:
. Do you want to enable the DotNet35 package?
. Do you want to add WPI in the image?
. Choose the M.A.S. package to include in the image: TsForge or HWID or None
    - Updated APPX files

In this version, two new scripts were created:
    1 - SD10_Custom_1.62.cmd
    2 - SD10_Default_1.62.cmd

The Custom script allows the user to apply the offered customizations at their discretion.

The Default script does not contain any customization options.

The folders below are for personal tweaks (in both scripts):
    - PersonalTweaks\BAT (.bat and .cmd files can be added)
    - PersonalTweaks\REG (only .reg file can be added)

These tweaks will be applied during RunOnceEx

In the package that is offered there are no tweaks to these folders.
It's up to the user to add their own tweaks (optional)

    =====================================================================
When choosing the CUSTOM script, please observe the guidelines below:
    =====================================================================

    All options are user-selected.

No customization is applied without the user's explicit choice.

If the user wants to customize the image, answer YES to both questions below and apply all available tweaks in WPI.

If the user does NOT want to customize the image, answer NO to both questions below and do NOT apply the available tweaks in WPI.

1 - Do you want to customize Boot.wim?
If the answer is YES, Boot.wim will be customized.

2 - Do you want to Pin the shortcuts to the Taskbar?
If the answer is YES, the following shortcuts will be pinned to the Taskbar: Windows Explorer, Show Desktop, and Notepad.

3 - WPI (Windows Post Install) - All other customization tweaks are available through this tool, which allows the user to choose whether or not to apply them.
If you don't want to apply any tweaks, just click "Exit" in the bottom right corner.

    Tested with:
    - pt-br_windows_10_enterprise_ltsc_2021_x86_dvd_d4aea182.iso
    - 19045.1826.220708-0121.22H2_RELEASE_SVC_REFRESH_CLIENTBUSINESS_VOL_X64FRE_PT-BR.ISO

    https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/slimdown10_v2-0-2-continued.88599/

Run your tests, and if necessary, we will make the required adjustments.

    Good luck!

Errors were found in the items below:

1 - Remove unnecessary System UWP Apps from Disk__ERROR: Access is denied.

2 - Enable Classic Win32 Photo Viewer__ERROR: Access is denied.

3 - Rebuilding Install.wim__ERROR: The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable.

To run the main script, did you execute "SD10_Custom_1.62_Start.cmd" or did you run the "SD10_Custom.1.62.cmd" script directly?

The correct way is to run "SD10_Custom_1.62_Start.cmd".

The first two "Access is denied" errors wouldn't have a major impact on the image size.

However, the error while rebuilding install.wim certainly would.

There might be leftover traces from previous operations on your host system that could be interfering.

I suggest always performing a registry cleanup using your preferred app and clearing out temporary files and folders before starting a new process.

I'll run a test using the same settings you used and see what happens on my end.

I tested the script ''SD10_Custom_1.62'' and the created ISO is the size (without using NTLite) that is visible in the picture.
    Thanks to SunLion

this is the one i used i followed the how to txt.

i clean install windows to create the slimdown iso. so i dont think that leftovers were the issue..
i am facing other issues like using a certain usb i cant boot to bios pressing f12 and select the uefi usb. am also facing that after shutdown of pc it doesnt want to boot. i have to use repair windows and use a device and selecting usb then it boots.
all this happened after i tried manjaro. or could be the ssd is failing.??

Sorry, I didn't mean leftovers from previous installations, but rather leftovers from unsuccessful script operations.

    To explain further:

When we run a process and it doesn't complete properly, the image often isn't unmounted correctly, and mounted registry hives remain.

    That’s what I mean.

It’s these leftovers that cause problems.

I use NTLite to identify any mounted files so they can be completely removed.

I use CCleaner (the last version released before it was sold to Avast), which helps me clean up registry entries and the like.

    So...

After all the cleanup is done, I restart the PC.

Only then do I start a new process.

    Always with the antivirus disabled.

    Regarding ''Power Run'' .
There is an explanation but no one reads it.

    https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/slimdown10_v2-0-2-continued.88599/page-75#post-1915791

7 – Now run the SD10_Custom_x.x_Start.cmd or SD10_Default_x.x_Start.cmd script as administrator.

    Attention:
The first time you run the SD10_Custom_x.x_Start.cmd or SD10_Default_x.x_Start.cmd script, a PowerRun warning will appear,
asking you to enable command line commands.
To do this, go to the DATA\Tools folder and run the PowerRun_x64.exe file.
In the window that opens, go to the Files tab and click "Allow command line" and Close the PowerRun_x64.exe.
That's it. Now everything will run without problems.

This is happening because, before using the script, you need to enable "Allow command line" in PowerRun.

Go to the DATA\Tools folder and double-click the PowerRun_x64.exe file.

    The PowerRun window will open.

Click on "Files" and select "Allow command line." See the attached image.

Close PowerRun and repeat the process.
