No success. I did make some progress with an updated Fujitsu fingerprint driver that allowed a setup button to appear but when activated a window unsuccessfully tries to open. Something deeper is preventing the setup routine starting. [Settings/accounts/Sign-in options/Windows Hello Fingerprint/Set up]
Good for a normal purpose PC, impossible if any MS-related gaming is done, e. g. Minecraft. Can also affect hardware-based activation (HwID).
Unfortunately, Minecraft requires an MS Account, which I'm using only for that one purpose. With the script applied, only offline play is possible, and skins and capes do not work correctly.
Sorry for the delay in replying. I’ve been working on the Windows 11 script. I am finishing up tests on the new version and will prepare a separate build for you to test in debug mode, where you can choose exactly what to disable. This way, for example, you can disable the service modifications and run a test. If the error is resolved, we’ll then need to identify which specific missing service is causing the issue. Thanks for your support. The Fujitsu Q736 tablet has built in synaptics fingerprint reader and to use with win 10 needs windows Hello for Business to setup the fingerprint reader. After downloading it, go to the DATA\Files folder and edit the Capabilities.txt and Capabilities2.txt files, removing the two lines below: Hello.Face.18967~~~~0.0.1.0 Hello.Face.Migration.18967~~~~0.0.1.0 Save the files and test it out. OK Let's try another method, then. Download this debug script and extract it into the main folder, alongside the `SD10_Default_1.70.cmd` script. Run the start script as an administrator. First, use option 1 ("Don't disable services") and test it. If that doesn't work, use option 2 ("Don't disable Tasks") and test it. If that doesn't work, use option 3 ("Don't disable Trackers") and test it. None of these options will disable services, tasks, or trackers. If one of them works, we will then need to determine which component is necessary. Please do this and report back with the results.
