I'm trying to slim down the Windows 10 iso , when I run SD10_Custom_1.72_Start.cmd the black window opens and then immediately closes. The folder is excluded from the antivirus. Plus antivirus is disabled altogether. I tried to run as administrator and tried to just run it . Same effect. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Good morning, Did you read the HowToUse.chm file before using the script? 7 – Now run the SD10_Custom_x.x_Start.cmd or SD10_Default_x.x_Start.cmd script as administrator. Attention: The first time you run the SD10_Custom_x.x_Start.cmd or SD10_Default_x.x_Start.cmd script, a PowerRun warning will appear asking you to enable command line commands. To do this, go to the DATA\Tools folder and run the PowerRun_x64.exe file. In the window that opens, go to the Files tab and click "Allow command line" and Close the PowerRun_x64.exe. That's it. Now everything will run without problems. See if this solves the problem. Let me know if anything comes up.
I've just done my test run and did run twice into two errors (PackageSelector/Remove Capabilities). I guess that's just an redundancy error as I've chosen to disable the media player and to remove Wordpad at the beginning of the script and it doesn't have any effect on my ISO? Later in the script it also shows an error for Wordpad
I'll check and get back to you with the result. No, this will not affect the ISO. There are some conflicts between PackageSelector and Remove Capabilities. I will check and correct this. Actually, PackageSelector doesn't add many additional removal options, since the Remove ProvisionedAppxPackages, Remove Capabilities, and Disable Features codes already cover the vast majority of what should be removed/disabled. Until it's validated, I suggest not using PackageSelector. Best regards
