The files that are not used remain in the folder that was created after using the script, namely in the "DVD" folder. They will not interfere with your performance.
OK Good morning. If you intend to edit the install.wim file using NTLite, you should place the 17763.xxxx_EnterpriseS_x64.xml file inside the %programfiles%\NTLite\presets folder. As for the installation, I always perform it using an ISO. The Autounattend.xml file is usually placed in the DVD folder, but you could try renaming it to unattend.xml, placing it inside the mount\Windows\Panther folder, and running the process. I’ve never done it that way myself, but give it a try and see if it works.
@bendeyar @SunLion So from your posts I can say with confidence, I don't need 17763.xxxx_EnterpriseS_x64.xml and Autounattend.xml, to get the benefits of slimming down with Slimdown10 script. Right? BTW, I do not intend to use NTlite at all. Thanks.
Correct, you don't need either of the two files. Autounattend.xml is for performing an unattended installation as much as possible. If you aren't going to use NTLite... They don't interfere at all with the script or the reduction and optimization process.
, anyway it was gpt sol in analyzing and deepseek in simplifying the sentences. continue on watching Insidious Out Of The Futher (2026), hope it is better . I do not want to be charged guilty in hijacking the thread. carry on OP.
Very nice output, well done, you should share your prompts! OMG! You love horrible movies! Still we love you, glad you are here!
LOL Maybe he's like me, retired so watching some things just because I can. I downloaded Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014) yesterday. Mainly because it was airing on regular TV but that only serves as a "Hey, if I download this, I won't have any commercials." It turned into a 2hr experiment on different subtitle files and how to get portable PotPlayer to automatically load the subtitles file. And, btw, his two movies are listed on Page One of the "popular downloads" page of the same exact source I d/l'd TMNT !!!
<apologies for the OT> @jagoanku - my entire day is planned (most likely two or three days): Insidious (2010) Insidious Chapter 2 (2013) Insidious Chapter 3 (2015) Insidious The Last Key (2018) Insidious The Red Door (2023) Insidious Out of the Further (2026) </apologies>
The script already uses some telemetry-disabling code by freddie-o. You can additionally use freddie-o's disable_telemetry at your own risk.
no it doesn`t finish install,no user. you can do sulion w10 ltsc and install, then make wim backup then do freddio to wim and restore.
I just started a FOSS de-poop tool thread here -- the idea intended as stated is as a resource for everyone in the sprit and intention of FOSS, as everyone has congruent and parallel goals in getting rid of Microsoft's excesses the best way possible. I've corresponded with more than a few of these guys over the years and know they'd be thrilled if someone finds their work on GitHub, finds something useful and uses it to make any more ambitious project better. Again in the sprit of FOSS.
