I would have to revisit, but if I recall correctly, removing GDID *after* you activated your OS is *meaningless* in the sense that Microsoft servers have already logged your device. Remove it from your end all you want, that doesn't remove it from their end. We have "activation" scripts elsehwere on this forum that would be better "homes" for any GDID discussions. If I recall, if you "activate" OFFLINE then that is the ONLY way for a GDID to not exist on any server! Again, removing it from your computer is kind of pointless if you've already allowed it to be logged elsewhere. But that aside, it kind of AMAZES me how many "activation" threads there are here at MDL. I would have "assumed" them to be a violation of Forum Rules. ie, making this a borderline "warez" web site.
Some users are complaining about the latest LCU – Windows10.0-KB5126657-x64.msu. They report that issues with audio are occurring. On the other hand, this is a comprehensive update intended to fix several previous problems. Its size has increased by about 300 MB compared to the previous LCU. Given all this, I’m going to wait and see if Microsoft releases another, more stable update soon.
Good call... In the media post production industry -- it's another melt-down, even the last straw for some that wish they'd never stopped using Apple products and now feel trapped by accelerating hardware prices - these are people in an industry that can't afford down-time. Microsoft's relentless update/destroy/later suckers approach to updates is quite the bridge burner.
===================== SD10_Renewed_1.74 ===================== Updated to 1904x.7807 - Updated the hfixes.txt - The latest update installs Copilot. Therefore, the code "Remove Microsoft-Copilot Package" has been added to the SD10_Custom_1.74.cmd script. This was not included in the SD10_Default_1.74.cmd script. - Updated Restricted Codecs Dolby - Updated the APPX files - Other small adjustments https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/slimdown10_v2-0-2-continued.88599/ Good luck!
I haven’t seen anything from MS, but I ran some tests and didn’t encounter any audio errors on my end. So, I decided to publish it— if only so that other users can run their own tests.
=================================== 17763_EnterpriseS_3.8 =================================== Updated to 17763.9376 - Fixed the "Downloading missing Windows 11 Updates for Build" code in the main script and _PreDownloadAllUpdates.cmd - Other minor adjustments https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/slimdown10_v2-0-2-continued.88599/ Good luck!
It’s working fine here, with no errors. Please check to make sure no extra spaces were included before or after the password when you copied it.
What extraction software were you using? It extracts fine for me using 7zip version 24.09 (which is two years old, I actually prefer to be a little old and not chase chase chase most recent).
Confirmed. In the test with version W10_19044.7807_EnterpriseS_x86_Default_1.74, Copilot is present. See the image.
