In the $oem$ dir the runoncex.cmd appears to delete the search bar & kills/greys out the explorer icon also. Can you advise?
SunLion Where do I set my login and password to enter? I received a window to enter at the end of the installation.
Windows Search can be disabled in several ways. It may be removed by the code below: It may be removed by the .reg or .cmd file: And it may also be removed by the termination script: I'm trying to fix this for the next edition. Please wait a little longer.
@SunLion no rush for me as I use Win10 as my main OS, I wont upgrade to 11 yet till it's all properly tweaked to my liking!
This shouldn't work with 24H2_Gamer OS v.5.0. It has a completely different structure. For SunLin, I provided this script to analyze its code and nothing more.
SunLion I am unfortunately not prepared to understand this, but thanks anyway. Realizing my mistake, i simply removed it from the installation and everything worked. I also noticed that this build works quite quickly, compared to what we have "out of the box". My Core I7 3770 with ssd sata are satisfied. Used 24H2_Integrator_10.10. The source was Win 11 Enterprise (non-ltsc).
Hello. I follow this thread from the beginning and I think it is the best source for modifying windows. Congratulations to original author wkeller and SunLion for continuing the script and to everyone for adding so many great ideas. I am using a simple script with the same technique as balanadi and sainfo for my windows 10 ltsc install. I mostly remove packages with dism from the offline image which reduces the size a lot with little effort. I could post the script if you believe it can add something to the conversation. It is pretty barebones but I made it customized to my preferences and it serves the purpose.
I would really like to see your script. We will be happy to test it. There is always an opportunity to discover something new.
I tried ''sainfo''s script and I can say that it creates a 4gb ''install.wim'' file. and this is without using NTLite.
