Probably a blind believer in the snake oil that is Antivirus software. False positives are common these days, unfortunately.
Personally, I have not used antivirus programs for about twenty years and nothing, there are no viruses in the system and have never been. You just don't need to surf “trash”, i.e. dubious sites, and everything will be OK!
Rest assured that when you have a virus on your system, you can figure it out. If you can't, then you have to spend a lot more time in front of the computer to figure it out. I haven't used antivirus for a long time either. I stay away from questionable sites.
I said that I don't have any antivirus software installed (there's no need for it), not that I never check my system for viruses. Of course I check it from time to time. But there are still no viruses in the system. I'll say it again: don't visit “rubbish sites” and you won't get them either.
No malware = no need to detect for it; I have enough experience to know how to source apps and VirusTotal anything particularly exotic
Hello everyone, somehow this topic has died down and there hasn't been any fresh news for a long time. So I decided to offer you a tool for working with the install.wim image, for testing: xxxx
That's why I didn't add them, because I thought it was unnecessary. And yes, in my case, the Autounattend.xml file is moved by the script to the root of the boot.wim file (it doesn't care where it is, but it's more convenient for me personally). So, if you want, you can put your own version of this file in the “Files” folder or edit this one. Also in the folder “PersonalTweaks” you can leave only those tweaks that you need or add your own. If you have any comments or suggestions for the image tool, please let me know in private.
While I LOVE stubborn optimism -- unfortunately, if you read (and even if you didn't) Microsoft's TOU that you clicked and accepted (or removed or blocked with script), legally as far as the OS is concerned -- that is not the case. Far worse: Windows 11 will now have baked in binary AI-Spyware, so 'as much as possible' is going to be about as meaningful as 'live as long as possible' with a very large bullet hole in your skull. If privacy and security are a concern and your plans include Windows 11, this won't go well with future mainstream SKUs of Windows 11. Microsoft, its Five-Eyes Partners are in direct, open opposition to your privacy and security... Just trying to offer a polite plain spoken 'heads-up' regarding what Microsoft intends -- in a thread where this kind of thing at least used to be a concern.
I start playing with packages what can be remove safe from 25H2 , and i was wondering if you have a list or some suggestions.
