btw: For someone not using a dark theme, your color choices are impossible to read. Especially the yellow.
It's true, my eyes confirm this! However, the contribution that friend @balanadi makes to the forum is greater than the discomfort caused by the yellow color he uses in his posts.
Hello, Happy Holiday, Any new W11 SD/slimdown version can I try? (SunLion has made enough good SD10 versions, hence I would like to test SD11 than SD10 to see if any luck)
@balanadi I prefer the installed OS size small. hence balanadi's work is great. a big improvement in shrinking OS size, IMO. for text in color, it looks fine for me. If it could be improved, it's better.
When installing Windows Updates, all packages and components removed from the image are reinstalled. Is there any way to prevent this?
Hmm, interesting case, why is that? I installed everything without any problems. I'll try to find out the reason for your failure to install the OS. Until the claim is resolved, I have deleted all disputed hands.
my review found there was install_temp.wim than install.wim in the folder. manually renaming it then the error is fixed. re-running install went smooth. its OS size is similar to v1.6.0 though this installed OS has much more apps (20-30 apps. while v160 has only two apps)
Unfortunately, it’s a well-known issue. If you follow this SD 11 thread, you can tell, people usually release a new SD11 version for new MSFT Updates/hotfixes. i.e. it’s a hardcore solution. NOT a permanent one. The solution varies on 21H2, 22H2, 23H2, 24H2, 25H2 , , ,
Hmm, that's strange, it should work. I commented out “Client CBS.” I'll figure out what the problem is, thanks for testing.
Can you also check: 1.What will happen after activating .NET Framework 3.5? 2.Does the update work? Just asking. And by the way. I modified the script to my liking, removed some and added other commands. I removed English and added my language. The script works without any problems. But I haven't tried the modified Windows on virtual machine yet. Tested with "tr-tr_windows_11_iot_enterprise_ltsc_2024_26100.1742_x64.iso" Thanks for the good work.
