I edited the asset tag in bios itself. And when i restarted it, it does not go to any pxe mode.. It goes to windows, and the slic is still the same

my BIOS didn't have a slic at all. If yours is SLIC 2.0 I don't think its possible to update to 2.1 using this method.

Is there a marker file update tool for this FUJITSU BIOS?
    -Model Fujitsu Lifebook P770
-Motherboard Manufacturer and Model :FUJITSU FJNB20F
    -Bios Revision : Version 1.14
    -Bios Type : Phoenix

As reported by Imatrix, SLIC 2.1 is already present but the only problem is the Marker. Does anybody know where to download a marker file update tool for Fujitsu?

    Thank you in advance.

    Many Thanks. I will inform.

    P. D. Just for my information too: phlash16 is a tool to mod BIOS or just to unhide SLP marker?

just write new marker. better check the bios file if there is full slic or RSA1 only
if full slic - you have to mod bios. if RSA1 only this way may help

They must be, sure, some stupid questions, but, How could I determine whether is full SLIC or just RSA1? Is that information in the ACPI tables or in the BIOS file? I cannot include a link to them here, but they are in the thread: "Phoenix bios SLIC mod requests (*.WPH or *.ROM files)., page 1654, #16535". (Before writting this message, I have searched this question in this site but found no clear answers.)

    Thanks in advance.

Hi! You must try metod from post #157. Its working for my G62-b40 very good. Now slic 2.1 in bios activated and Factory Instaled OS - WIN7 show in BIOS. You need to change PCID from same computer with Windows 7 OEM preinstaled. HP tools can do it!

    thank you, it works!

But when I instead found on the Internet PСID, returning to the place of its original PСID, then again in the BIOS is no-Vista.

Therefore, the work comes with a stranger idetifikator

veekaydee, you are crazy man! ;)

all you had to do is
    OA2INTELWIN.exe update pubkey.bin marker.bin sign.bin

you have erazed the just programmed slic by command OA2INTELWIN.exe erase
