SLP Marker File Update Utilities

Please, Lenovo B580 (B580G) . How marker use? The marker from B570 not make.

this laptop (cpu) doesn't support Vpro .
i tried to uncommit amt and at.. no success

In the bios I enabled UEFI boot

HI,

I have a HP G61-415SA laptop which runs Win 7 home x64.
When I boot my notebook on the top left there is: ''Serial Number Not Found''.

I recently made the mistake of installing win7 via a retail windows 7 which I had from my pc but I cannot activate windows using keys because either it wont allow it coz the key is supposed to be preactivated by HP, or it is wrong (THE STICKER IS VERY FADED DUE TO AGE).

I have a recovery disk for the laptop which I created after buying, BUT when I try to boot using boot options menu at startup I get following: "RecoveryMgr.exe - Apllication Error"

(BIG RED X) The instruction at 0x400f43ef referenced memory at 0x00000000. The mory could not be read.

Click on OK to terminate the program"

then it restarts windows backup(BIG BLACK SCREEN, Message saying NOT GENUINE WINDOWS etc....I have now gone over 30 days)

I am aasuming that when I installed the fresh copy of Windows(NONE HP version) it removed my serial and product info from the BIOS and now it wont accept my recovery disks(WHICH I CAN VIEW FILES VIA EXPLORER, so it isnt corrupt)

IS THERE A WAY TO GET THIS INFO BACK AND CAN SOMEONE PROVIDE ME WITH A STEP BY STEP GUIDE TO FIX, I JUST WANT TO REINSTALL MY RECOVERY DISK NOW, AS I DONT KNOW HOW I CAN GET FULL WINDOWS KEY TO ACTIVATE CURRENT ONE.

I AM IN DISPAIR AT THE MOMENT SO PLEASE HELP

The same for all other SLIC 2.1

I have installed it and rebooted laptop, but serial is still showing as not found.

Is there different version of daz loader I should be using. Also there is no option for me to input my serial number and product number. So how will daz loader know this? I have looked in bios screen in startup options and it also shows serial number and product number as blank.

On a different view as well. Is my theory right about this being the reason why I cannot install recovery disk? Or is it because I do not have HP recovery manager and is there a way to install it.

sorry, but what could cause recovery disk not to work? is it the fact that there is no longer a hp recovery partition? as some of my googling seems to suggest this may be the case.

Does that mean I cannot recover back to hp version again?

 

im having some problem with my compaq presario CQ40-109TU Notebook PC.after updating my bios it shows that there is no serial,product name or invalid.it also shows that my os is not activated.i run windows loader and it showed that there's something wrong with the slic.checked the ignore slic box in the loader and manage to activate it now.van i ask how can i solve this no/invalid serial,product name during boot up?what are the exact tools to use for my laptop?thank you very much in advance

thanks for the quick reply conghoaxa1.i will try the NbDmiFit 1.19 or NbDmiFit 1.1.btw my slic is ok now,i just checked with SLIC_Tool Kit and its showing that mine is slic 2.1.cheersss

this is my sitation, when I meant serial number not found, it is not windows serial number, BUT HP serial number and product name and model.

My recovery disks are in good order because I have used them before but it was a long time ago and since then I installed a windows 7 iso image, but my windows key sticker is faded. so my only option is to somehow try and get recovey dvds to work, but they keep getting that error(which is gave you screen shot of previously, "recoverymgr.exe application error")

Ive done diagnotics on HDD and all ok, OBVIOUSLY it is as system is generally running fine on clean NON hp windows 7, BUT SOMETHING IS STOPPING RECOVERY DISKS FROM STARTING.

anything else I can try?

 

can you upload picture tab advanced in cmos? HP serial number and product name and model

 

Apologies, but it may just be the cpu in my brain has overheated.

Please can you explain what cmos is?
