I own an HP slimline s3410.fr and the mobo died it's a FOXCONN IRVINE-GL6E. I plan to buy a new one and therefore needs the right DMI Tools for this mobo so as i can re-enter the correct info in the BIOS. Thanks for your replies.

Hi,where can I find PCID`s for hp 4530s?After bios update and couple of days use my laptop was bricked.I was lucky to recover bios,but all information for laptop was erased.With help of NbDmiFit I rewrote PCID ... ect.So I am ready experiment with other PCID`s.
do the SHIFT (fn to activate F1 if your F1 has ? ) F1 type ADV to get advanced menu to be able to change it to windows7 and ultimate version... much easier than changing pcid heres my pc id changes original win 8 PCID 088F140003304010000620100 changed with nbdmifit 1.19 to PCID 088E140003204010000640100 change yours accordingly the bold numbers.. 2 is for win7 the 4 is for ultimate number 1 would be vista number 3 is windows 8 (but likely wont work for 8 due to stuff missing from slic 2.2 if it didnt come with win8 ) if using HPBi133 try /? for more options..

(note had been playing around with the ITK & had some info set in the SMBIOS, not sure if that has anything to do with it working) (Prior to this- could only get the depo slic 2.1 working)

The only DOS utility that works is HPBQ193 - there is option G - Set OS SKU - and here are two options: 0 - Set system to ship with non-Vista OS 1 - Set system to ship with Vista OS The HPBQ193 was issued as part of HP set utilities ver.1.4b and the ProBook 4740s is not supported by. Run dmifit.bat ending with erross and does not work. Question: What to do for OS ,which require SLIC 2.1 ? Experiencies: - When run DOS utility NbDmiFit ver.119 and ver.11B ending with two messages: "Please boot to windows and use wndmifit.exe to program DMI information. If the MPM mode is locked,escalate to 3LS to get SMC blob to unlock MPM" (MPM=Manufacturing Programing Mode) "Please use EFI tool Brand12 to commit AMT and AT" (I don`t know,what AMT and AT mean..) -When run wndmifit from windows: "MPM is not unlocked.Will not be able to set BIOS settings.Please escalate ....
