Lenovo V510 and V310. Injected W7 SLIC with WinFlash (used patch mode, not the full BIOS update). Had to split it in two parts: SLP marker and pubkey (done with hex editor). After reboot everything works perfectly, OS activated with Lenovo cert and OEM:SLP serial.

Only for future reference I activate the SLIC 2.1 in an HP "15-aw003la".

    You need "NbDmiFit-2.13".

1.- Boot with the USB in UEFI to unlock the "MPM".

2.- Start session in windows and open the program "wndmifit" located in the package "NbDmiFit-2.13", change the "Feature Byte" by this "2U2V2e3E3H3Q3V3X3m3u464k5T5c5u5x676J6S6b7B7j.A3", press the botom comit.

3.- Boot with the USB in UEFI to block the "MPM".

    4. Verify the existence of SLIC 2.1 =).

NOTE: You can also from PURE MSDOS with the "nbdmifit".
NOTE 2: Possibly it works for all HP with the "wndmifit" utility.
NOTE 3: Some moderator please that can go gathering the list of models that work.

Не знаю можно ли тут это писать но я долго искал пока нашел как оно работает.
    Как использовать NbDmiFit
    Там везде написано нажимать зачем-то shift + F1 + A D V или Fn+F1+shift + A D V
    OS SKU :0 non-vista
    OS SKU :1 vista
    OS SKU :2 win7
    Для 7 поставьте 2
    И тут:
    Image ID:0 win 7 starter
Image ID:1 win 7 home basic
Image ID:2 win 7 home prem
    Image ID:3 win7 prof
    Image ID:4 ultimate
    Для Ultimate поставьте 4.
Сохранить файл, перегрузиться под дос, снова запустить: NbDmiFit.bat
Выбрать W - Program EEPROM from file
Нажать ентер это все проверяйте слик на месте.

I have a Dell Optiplex 990 here that is lacking the SLIC in RWEverything. I have another one which does have the SLIC.

    The one missing the SLIC:

    The one with the SLIC:

How can I change Product and Version to match?

Or maybe I need to use OATool from Intel? I'm not sure who manufactures the board. (Changing the asset to PASS:12/31 or PASS:12/34 has no effect)

    Thanks

    Anyone?

From what I gather, I need to modify this:

    CN06D7TR736041840

    To this

    06D7TR7360414R0

Not sure what the "CN" does, but "840" at the end seems to signify a machine that shipped without SLIC, and 4R0 signifies that it did ship with it.

How do I change the PPID/ePPID, aside from desoldering the eeprom and hex editing its contents? There are two flash chips on the 990's motherboard, one 8MB and one 2MB. I'm almost certain that the 2MB chip is holding this data. Does anyone know of any utility that can do this?
