SLP Marker File Update Utilities

If you can provide step by step instruction on how to use this tool it will be much helpful.

please i have a long time trying to mod the bios of the mobo intel dg31pr with no success. could anybody help me to do that?
i´ve used oa2intel from dos and win with the marker asus and dell with this result always..

Your windows marker file is oud of date.
you must create a new windows marker file utilizing
a different value for OEMTableID
Udate failed!

the problem is that i dont know how to create that marker without killing my mobo ...

I did that, but still doesn't work.

 

Tried on a Compaq C702TU. Used HPBC259.exe. Bios still shows non-Vista. However the tool reports that i have a OS SKU of Windows Vista ie SKU is 1.

i am currently running Windows 7 Ultimate x86. Could it be because of that the bios is showing the OS as non Vista?

 

Any help guys?

Hi again, my old hard disk corrupted and so I got a new one. While checking for any slics using the slic dump tool, I so that there were no slics. Aren't the slics supposed to stay once the BIOS is modded? Thanks.

 

SLIC is in the bios yea..

Unless you used a loader.

 

I didn't use a loader. I modded my BIOS with DELL Slic but its not present any more after I changed my HDD.

 

That is NOT possible!, SLIC is in BIOS, on the HD you have only key & certificate
