slui.exe orginal file

    i did a search on my rig and i dont have one but when i typed in slui ...got a window pop up say activation was sucessful

    ok now when i got to change product key, i get this error

    slui.exe- Application Error

    The application was unable to start correctly (0x0000022). Click OK to close the application.

    how do i fix this error now.

    still does the error after i do that scan

    probably because it was from another version of windows or different architecture. You need to have a copy from the exact same edition as you have.

    Search your windows dir for slui.exe

    i found a second slui.exe here

    Copy to windows/system32 dir

    Or you can mount the install.wim from your 7 dvd and copy the file!

    Slui.exe depends on many files! (Google and download Dependency Walker to find out)

    Try what PAYMYRENT suggested earlier!
