Blizzard has decided to kill off one of the most popular vanilla World of Warcraft servers, Nostalrius. The server aimed to be as close to the final 2006 incarnation of the game before any expansions came. Over 800,000 people played on the server, and over 150,000 were on when the noticed was received. A petition has been started to keep the server up, but is extremely likely Blizzard won't change their minds. The server is closing down on April 10, 2016. RIP.
