simply activate your system by either using a genuine key or one of the famous activation tools like MTK or KMSpico
Wait a minute, you can run 8.1 indefinitely w/o activating? (7 forces you to shut down after grace period)...
After expiration it will prompt you to upgrade, if you don't it will lock certain settings functions (and possibly reboot every few hours, as far as I remember)
