Windows should allow CUSTOM INSTALL to enable the user to DESELECT all garbage apps and features which he doesn't want to install. This will help to make Windows 10 a slimmer and a much faster and light OS. Let's Hope !

Enginner: You make a good point an option to deselect crap would be nice. I agree with the crowd it's probably concerning threshold 2. Probably something regarding a part of the update the is 'life changing' and 'groundbreaking'. Microsoft are doing a good job with updates though. Kudos.
Spot on! Most of us would love this option but I seriously doubt we will see this. They will continute to push their garbage apps and fluff.
You can thank the Ballmer-era numbskulls for trying to copy Apple (ugh!) for all of that, and iOS exclusively for the concept of the $1 garbage app...but thankfully, Win10 is quite customizable, actually, as I run no tiles, and no "apps" (unless you want to talk about calculator)...not sure what you mean by "fluff" however... "People" and all of that rot, I imagine. Thank goodness it's easy to turn off.
Apple has spyware and so does Google what's your point... MS at least has the bawls too tell you they are collecting information from you and not sneak it through applications without your consent, not to mention every website you sign up for probably sold your information to stay in business.
