    hi digital forum,
I am new to this forum. And i hope to get nice help from the users. Actually i had windows vista in my laptop previously, on which i was able to connect my laptop to Lca tv. But now after i reformatted my system with Windows7 i am not able to connect lap with Tv. Though the cable and all are perfect, its not detecting. What could be the possible problem??

    Thanks in advance...

If you were able to connect to your LCD whilst using Vista - you should't have a problem doing so in 7, cause there are no differences. I presume you use DVI to HDMI cable to do this.

Plug the cable to your laptop, then to your LCD, then switch on your LCD and you should be good to go. If not, right-click on Desktop->Screen Resolution and click on 'Detect'.

You do not need any additional software or drivers in order to output signal to a different screen. Speaking of which, I assume your display drivers are OK (not marked as "!")
