As many of you may know working in the IT field, deploying and updating Adobe Acrobat and Flash Player, along with the Java Runtime can be a real pain. As we know, we could use Group Policy to deploy updated versions along with switches to ensure the Bing Toolbar is not installed, etc.

Wouldn't it be nice if Java and Adobe made a console or centralized Update tool available for users within a domain so that deployments and updates could go more smoothly as these tools are widely used yet do not offer any options to make it more simple for domain-based setups.

Do any of you out there have fun with these issues as well and how do you address them. In my case, it's a combination of many tricks involving Group Policy, Windows Startup Folders, .bat scripts and the sort.

    SPEAK OUT ALL!!!!
