Im going to go ahead and try to uninstall and certificate and the key then reinstall the certificate and the key. How do I uninstall the certificate and the key?
Set IE to compatibility mode. In the start menu you can also search for slui.exe and launch that which may then activate you again.
Try to flash BIOSmod again, and reinstall your certificate and serial, I think you can do via slmgr, as described in Win7 repository thread
Typing in this key (or another key) returns: A problem occurred when Windows tried to activate. Error code 0xC004E003.
Uninstall that Office 2007 that Failed Validation and see if Win 7 without Office 2007 installed Passes for you. From your MGADiag: OGA Data--> Office Status: 108 Invalid VLK Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 - 108 Invalid VLK AND ><App Id="1A" Version="12" Result="108"/><App Id="1B" Version="12" Result="108"/><App Id="44" Version="12" Result="108"/><App Id="A1" Version="12" Result="108"/><App Id="BA" Version="12" Result="108"/></Applications></Office></Software></GenuineResults>
One other Thing, Why did you use the ASUS Key when you have DELL SLIC showing in the MGADiag ? Did you flash an ASUS SLIC 2.1 BIOS Mod and then use a Loader ????
That kind of surprised me as well as I have been using a Asus cert/key this whole time and my BIOS is Asus (obviously else it wouldnt run) I also tried a Dell key (in this whole process to fix it) but nothing. And yes, I took the latest Asus BIOS for my motherboard, added the neccesary SLIC tables, and flashed it. But this was over a year ago.... I have never used a loader on this PC.
Well it seems you must have Installed a Pre-Activated copy or you have some other Loader Installed giving the DELL SLIC. You need to get rid of thta Loader and you will probably NOT have this problem any more. Do the Steps in 6H of the thread linked to by Daz.
OEM:SLP Keys are not known to be brand specific, so that most likely would not be the issue You say you used Acer SLIC and Certificate but your bios SLIC reads DELL, by simply installing the DELL certificate you should be able to fix your issue SLIC and Cert Have to match, you can use any OEM:SLP Key for the specific edition as these are not known being brand specific (but if there is a OEM:SLP Key that matches your SLIC/Cert combo i advice you to use it)
@ Freestyler, I'm fully aware that the Keys are Not Brand dependant. That was just a clue that he didn't have a DELL SLIC Bios Mod. He has an ASUS SLIC 2.1 Bios Mod and Dell SLIC showing in the MGADiag, which means he has a Loader of some kind installed that needs to be removed. Then He can then re-install the ASUS Cert/Key and Re-validate. All of which I stated above.
Still, there is no proof whatsoever the guy uses a loader, he states he never used a loader and that he installed Windows 7 about a year back. Maybe the guy is mistaken, a) he might have installed a loader somewhere last year, b) He is mistaken in which SLIC he flashed a year back or c) he has absolutely no clue whatever he did last year, so this well could be the infamous BIE pre-activated sh!t
