There is no magic as he wants you to believe. Just copy the explorer.exe from Windows Server 2022. However the systray is missing (no clock, no volume, no network etc)
Any way to remove control center button from systray and to add classic language bar icon back to taskbar?
How do you get this far with the old taskbar? I'm using explorer.exe from Server 2022 but my systray is completely missing.
im guessing that his method is much better and simpler then mine the icon of the gears is action center ? edit: i think removing the user experience package before the install will make the old taskbar appear not sure need to test but mb he can confirm
To enable systray icons go to %windir%\explorer.exe shell:::{05d7b0f4-2121-4eff-bf6b-ed3f69b894d9}\SystemIcons Control Center icon is the same as merged volume + network icon in new taskbar
I had startisback installed on Windows 10 and then upgraded to Windows 11 and cannot get it back. How do I bring back startisback and quick launch bar back please? Thanks
